MCD encourages the use of information and knowledge as the basis for science and research support related to coastal resource management, sustainable livelihood development to improve the quality of community life.
We collaborate with local scientists, experts, organizations and communities to develop and implement applied research that is tailored to local and organizational needs and priorities.
Activities:
– Collaborate with scientists, experts and organizations on the development and implementation of program activities in the project area.
– Assist experts as well as students in research on marine conservation, coastal resource management, social development and sustainable livelihoods in the project area.
– Synthesize and document the practical lessons and enhance the experience so that it can be applied and widely disseminated in the future.
– Establish and manage the relevant database system (community facilities, resource records) and other information.
– Participating and contributing speeches at national and international scientific conferences.
– Strengthen the exchange of information and expand cooperation with scientific networks, research organizations at home and abroad in related fields / activities.
